Wilson, NC – On Sunday, 25-year-old black male Darius Sessoms ran into his next door neighbor’s front yard and shot a 5-year-old Cannon Hinnant in the head, in front of his two sisters.
Police say the man’s motive is unknown. Suspect is currently in custody.
According to ABC 11 Eyewitness News, a neighbor witnessed the attack. She told ABC 11 that Sessoms walked up to the little boy who was just sitting on his bike, aimed point-blank, put a gun to his head, and fired. She asked, “How can anyone do that?”
