70K Anti-Trump Activists Sign ‘Liberation’ Pledge Demanding Reparations, Open Borders, Defunding Of Military

More than 70,000 activists aligned with the Women’s March organization have signed a radical pledge demanding reparations for African-Americans, open border immigration policies and the defunding of the U.S. military.

The “Pledge of Liberation” also calls for a $15 federal minimum wage, an end to “gender norms, expectations, stereotypes” and abortion on demand, among other far-left positions.

Women’s March, which recently joined forces with left-wing activist group Indivisible, is partnering up with the ACLU, United We Dream, Hollaback!, The Gathering for Justice and the National Lawyers Guild to hold 60 demonstrations across the country on Monday in conjunction with the pledge, according to the group’s website.

Pro-abortion group NARAL endorsed the pledge and promoted it on Twitter.

CNN commentator Sally Kohn also appeared to endorse the pledge on Twitter:

The pledge stakes out radical, far-left positions and demands the government pull taxpayer funding of the national military.

“We reject the use of our tax dollars for expanded and militarized law enforcement, for prisons, and for military weapons that harm rather than help people,” the pledge’s introduction declares. (RELATED: Women’s March Organizer Met Ex-Hamas Operative, Has Family Ties To Terror Group)

A section of the pledge titled “Ending State + Police Violence” similarly claims signees “reject all forms of violence, particularly violence perpetrated by those who claim to protect and serve the people.”

Another section, titled “Ending War,” states, “we must work together to end war and live in peace with our family around the world. Ending war means a cessation to the direct and indirect aggression caused by the war economy and the concentration of power in the hands of a wealthy elite who use political, social, and economic systems to safeguard and expand their power.” (RELATED: Women’s March Featured Speaker Who Kidnapped A Man And Tortured Him To Death)

Signees also called for full full voting rights for felons and reparation payments as part of the fight for “racial justice.”

“We believe it is time for an all-inclusive Equal Rights Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. We believe that ALL Black lives matter and that fighting for Black liberation means demanding reparations for African American and Indigenous people on whose backs the American economy was built,” the pledge states.

The pledge takes similar far-left positions on the subject of immigration.

“We believe migration is a human right and that no human being is illegal. We demand the establishment of sanctuary cities that are sanctuaries for all—including Black, Latinx, Asian, queer, trans, and disabled people who are disproportionately targeted by local law enforcement—and an end to the targeting and deportation of undocumented people and families. We demand an opening of our borders and resources to migrants and refugees regardless of nationality, religion, or background,” it states.

Pledge signees also “demand the passage of federal anti-workplace discrimination legislation that specifically protects the rights and identities of LGBTQIA+ people,” as well as “open access to safe, legal, affordable abortion and birth control for all people, regardless of income, location or education.”

According to Women’s March, the pledge contains “the principles in which our resistance movement is rooted.” (RELATED: Hillary Clinton Now ‘Part Of The Resistance’)

The organization, whose leaders include former Clinton staffers, has continued its anti-Trump activism since organizing a march in Washington, D.C. the day after President Trump’s inauguration. Last month Women’s March organized a similar “A Day Without A Woman” protest and march in the nation’s capital.

Women’s March emailed supporters on Thursday and again on Monday, encouraging them to sign the pledge and attend one of Monday’s demonstrations. (RELATED: Soros, Left-Wing Activists Plot Trump Resistance)

“We cannot pledge allegiance to an administration that oppresses and harms us. Instead, we pledge allegiance to the liberation of all people. We pledge allegiance to each other,” the email stated.
