Watchdog: New Emails Show More Instances Of Clinton Exchanging Classified Info

WASHINGTON — Hundreds of new State Department emails released by the watchdog group Judicial Watch (JW) show additional instances of Hillary Clinton sending and receiving classified information through an unsecure server.
JW released 894 pages of new State materials, obtained through a FOIA lawsuit against the Department, including previously unreleased email conversations that show the former secretary of state being sent additional classified information via her unsecure clintonmail.com email account from her senior aide Huma Abedin.
“The new documents included 29 email exchanges not previously turned over to the State Department, bringing the known total to date to at least 317 emails that were not part of the 55,000 pages of emails that Clinton turned over to the State Department. These records further appear to contradict statements by Clinton that, ‘as far as she knew,’ all of her government emails were turned over to the State Department,” JW said in a statement.
One example cited by JW include a December 21, 2009, email. Clinton national security adviser Jake Sullivan forwarded an email to Clinton’s unsecured email account that contained classified information that was redacted under FOIA exemption B1.4(D).
Clinton proceeded to forward the info about the climate change accord from her unsecured email account to Abedin’s unsecured email account, noting to Abedin to, “Pls print.”
Another example is an email from December 24, 2009. Clinton sent an unsecure email from HDR22@clintonmail.com to then-Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Johnnie Carson asking him to “Pls review the memcon of my call w [French] FM Kouchener [Redacted].”
“Information in this message was blacked out using FOIA exemptions B1.4(B) – “Foreign government information” and (D),” JW states.
Additionally, the newly released Abedin emails show four different times when Clinton’s then-scheduler Lona Valmoro forwarded Clinton’s detailed daily schedule to top Clinton Foundation officials.
