According to reports from the Daily Mail; Victor Ramirez sexually assaulted and savagely beat Marilyn Pharis, 64, with a hammer after breaking into her Santa Maria, California, home while she was sleeping on July 24.
The victim – who was also allegedly raped by a second man, 20-year-old Jose Villagomez, during the intrusion – was taken to an area hospital with ‘severe injuries’, where she died eight days later.
