Hillary Aide: She Could Run A Third Time

Former Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton could be a candidate for the presidency in 2020, her former close aide Philippe Reines told Politico in a recent interview.
Reines revealed Clinton’s possible 2020 candidacy after an extended riff extolling the supposed benefits of Clinton saying “she is smarter than most, tougher than most, she could raise money easier than most, and it was an absolute fight to the death.”
Pressed on whether his praises of Clinton mean she could run again Reines replied: “It’s somewhere between highly unlikely and zero…but it’s not zero.”
Clinton has maintained a prominent presence in the national media since her 2016 presidential defeat, participating in multiple primetime television interviews and opining on the news of the day. She consistently has served as one of the most public critical voices of the Trump administration.
Clinton recently came under fire for rejecting Democratic civility toward Republicans saying, “you cannot be civil with” the Republican Party because it “wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about.”
