Convenience store owner who shot & killed thief sentenced to 8 years in prison

SPANAWAY, WASHINGTON – Convenience store owner Min Kim was sentenced to eight years in prison for shooting and killing a fleeing shoplifting suspect.

There had been a string of robberies in the area prior to Kim’s defense of his store.

This includes a previous robbery attempt of Mr. Kim’s convenience store.

During the attempted robbery, Mr. Kim’s wife Lim Kim was shot during a shootout with the robber.

“I was shot by a robber and after that my husband struggled in fear of losing me,” Lim Kim

This verdict has left Americans wondering; Is this justice?
