Attack On American History Continues – ‘Little House on the Prairie’ Author Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Name Removed From Award

It’s hard to imagine, but Laura Ingalls Wilder’s name has been pulled from a library award for being controversial. Leftists have decided that books with titles such as; Little House in the Big Woods (1932), Farmer Boy (1933), Little House on the Prairie (1935), On the Banks of Plum Creek (1937), By the Shores of Silver Lake (1939), The Long Winter (1940), and Little Town on the Prairie (1941) are too immoral for the children in today’s virtuous society.

Turning its attention on Laura Ingalls Wilder, the Left continues its attack on American history. Laura Ingalls Wilder is an author, best known for the iconic series “Little House on the Prairie.”

On Saturday, The Association of Library Service to Children’s (ALSC) board voted unanimously to rename the “Laura Ingalls Wilder Award” as the “Children’s Literature Legacy Award.”

The ALSC sited the name change was due to the author’s depiction of certain races in the early-to-mid 20th century and ‘stereotypical attitudes’ in her popular books.

The Left continues to erase our history. Without our history, where are we headed as a nation? Humility and hard work have been staples in the U.S.A., but if Americans don’t speak up now, there may not be an American future.

We find ourselves deep in a culture war. Traditional American values vs. a mutated leftist ideology.
