Atlanta Police warned local news outlets that there was a group of armed black men surrounding Wendy’s forcing white people out.
There was a video posted to social media over the weekend showing a number of people surrounding a police officer, ordering him to leave. (We were unable to obtain the footage.)
Atlanta’s CBS46 reported:
“Go home. He looks like you. No white cops,” a person told police.
“Get your white face out of here,” another person told police.
CBS46 was advised not to send white reporters and photographers to the area.
“It’s not safe for no white people out here,” another person told police.
