One America News Network’s Pearson Sharp visited Douma, Syria in search of evidence of a chemical attack. Pearson spoke with residents of a neighborhood a block and a half away from the area reported to have suffered the attack. In fact the residents disagree with the reports, telling Pearson that nothing out of the ordinary occurred on that day.
Pearson’s team went on to visit the rebel headquarters, where he explored underground tunnels and discovered areas for weapons manufacturing. He personally witnessed entire rooms filled with mortars.
His team took to the street and interviewed 30-40 people at random, not one of them “had seen anything or heard anything” about a chemical attack on that day.
The interviewees believed that the attack was staged by the rebels who were occupying the town at the time, enabling the rebels escape the area.
