High School ‘Freshmen’ from Central American Charged in Rape of 14-Year-Old-Girl

Jose Montano And Henry Sanchez Charged In Rape Of 14-Year-Old Girl

by Alex Pfeiffer

Two Maryland high school students who recently arrived in the U.S. from Central America are being charged for raping a 14-year-old girl in a high school bathroom Thursday.

Jose Montano, 17, and Henry Sanchez, 18, appeared before a Rockville County judge Friday who denied them both bail. The rape allegedly occurred inside a bathroom at Washington, D.C.-area Rockville High School, The Washington Post reported. Montano forced her into the bathroom and then the two took turns repeatedly sexually assaulting her in a stall as she cried out, according to police affidavits.

The judge said that Sanchez is currently facing deportation proceedings, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement won’t comment on Montano’s immigration status as he is a minor. Both arrived in the U.S. in the past couple of months. Montano is from El Salvador and Sanchez is from Guatemala.

Sanchez and Montano are both also freshmen despite being ages 18 and 17, respectively. The incident comes a month after an illegal immigrant teen was captured after allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl near D.C. (RELATED: MS-13 Gang Recruiting Young Illegal Immigrants, Fueling Crime In DC)
